Couple of months ago, I bought a HK450 CCPM 3D Helicopter Kit (Align T-rex Compat.) Ver. 2. it took about two weeks to arrive, using air parcel, and as soon as it arrived, I jumped to my tools, and started assembling it.

The assembly was quite easy, it didn't have any instruction, but looking at YouTube videos and downloaded some PDFs for the original Trex 450 V.2, it is the same helicopter, just a cheaper clone heli.

 HK-4502

It has some cheap parts, like plastic main rotor assembly, and plastic tail rotor assembly too, the main rotor, the tail rotor, and the fins are all plastic, they are fine, except the main rotor blades, being plastic, it is quite heavy and not balanced, and even after balancing it, with a lot of adhesive tape, it is really not so good, it makes the bird vibrate alot, so I bought the same size 325 m.m. fiber glass main blades. These blades are quite nice for a decent beginner, not as good as the carbon fiber blades, which are a little over 6$, but for a beginner, it is good enough, so I would recommend that you buy a few of them, they are cheap, a little bit over 3 $, and if you are a newbie you will probably break a few of them in the learning process.

Speaking of which, this makes a perfect learner, not because it is easy to fly, but because it is cheap, and there is an even cheaper version of it, it is just below 9$, but it is really hard to come by, as it is almost never in stock, so you have to keep close watch to snag one of them. Both are the same quality, and basically, this is all you need, since you will have to upgrade a couple of parts anyways, and as for the shipping, they will eventually end up the same price.

Another must have for a newbie is the training gear, you will need this, as it will save you a lot of blades, and repairs, and spare parts till you get the hang of RC helicopter flying, as it is not an easy job to fly a RC heli, as a matter of fact, it is the hardest RC vehicle to control.

It is a very nice easy to build heli, though there have been so many complaints from the screws that they are too soft, but on the contrary, from my experience, I can say they are just good when you use the correct driver, just make sure the driver is a good fit, and don't over tigten them, instead use some thread lock and you're good to go.

Flying was just as good, I have logged some 10 hours flying it so far, and it feels is very stable, and agile, I didn't do any hard flying with it, I'm not so into 3D flying.

My setup for this helicopter was quite cheap, and here is a list of the electronics i used with it.
